When crowds overran Dublin beaches on the hottest day in Ireland since 2022, Bliziński and his partner climbed down a cliff face to a small, unmapped cove. A water bottle that slipped on the way down, scratched and dented but holding water. It became the central metaphor: that the cost of going somewhere worth going is inseparable from the going. Inspired by the Czech proverb “Naděje umírá poslední” (hope dies last), this single production functions as a heartfelt praise to hope. The song demonstrates a maturation into a rich, ensemble-driven aesthetic that utilizes the full range of Zoe Hayter’s theatrical background.

The track features a dynamic build from quiet vulnerability into an energetic, band-driven anthem. The violin work by Rafał Szydłowski acts as the metaphorical “voice of hope,” while Maciej Bliziński’s piano and electric bass provide a modern, grounded foundation for Zoe’s rustic and angelic vocals.

“Tentativa” is the studio album debut for the Brasilidades ensemble—Luisa Annibali, Julio Batista, and William Alexandre—exploring the traditions of Choro and Samba. The ten-track album features original music in both Portuguese and Italian.

Maciej served as the recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, ensuring that the organic Choro and Samba textures were captured authentically. The project highlights the rhythmic depth and melodic elegance of the ensemble, contributing to the vibrant grassroots Brazilian music scene in Dublin.

“Libera” is a landmark solo album from Luisa Annibali, representing the culmination of five years of songwriting. It blends jazz with Italian lyrics and Latin rhythms, drawing comparisons to artists like Esperanza Spalding and Gretchen Parlato.

The album showcases Luisa’s fearless genre-blending, incorporating Italian melodic richness, Brazilian rhythms, and modern neo-soul influences. Maciej’s involvement in the vocal recording and mixing ensured that the expressive vocals and boundless energy of the performance were captured with pristine clarity.

This single highlights Zoe Hayter’s French heritage and her ability to blend intimate storytelling with a charming linguistic delivery. The track is enriched by a timeless jazzy violin melody and explores themes of desire and the appreciation of a fleeting moment.

In collaboration with Maciej Bliziński, Zoe has crafted a sound that is both intimate and anthemic, utilizing the full range of her theatrical background. Maciej’s double bass and piano provide a jazz-inflected acoustic resonance that complements Hayter’s vocal character.
